Highmark's ATM and debit cards allow members easy access to their accounts, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Members can get cash, check balances and transfer funds with an extensive network of ATMs worldwide. Highmark does not charge a surcharge on your first eight ATM withdrawals each month when using ATMs from within our network. On August 22, 2012, Highmark expanded their network of surcharge-free ATM choices. You can now use any ATM, surcharge-free, if it displays a CO-OP symbol or a MoneyPass symbol . (These symbols are also referenced on the back of your card.)
CO-OP is a credit union owned nationwide network of ATMs. Most credit unions participate in the CO-OP network so look for ATMs at credit unions as you travel. MoneyPass is owned by US Bank and is also a nationwide network. There are 50 CO-OP and MoneyPass ATMs in the Black Hills and over 46,000 nationwide. In addition, Highmark participates in the NYCE/SUM surcharge-free newtowrk. Although there are no SUM ATMs in South Dakota, there are thousands available when you travel to other states. Locators for each of these network choices are listed below.
Or you can download an app for your smart-phone by going to http://www.co-opnetwork.org. Or text your zip-code to 692667 (MYCOOP) to locate a surcharge-free ATM while you are on the go.
