Share Certificates (Certificates of Deposit)

Share Certificates are a type of savings account with a fixed minimum term and a minimum initial deposit. For fixed-rate Share Certificates, the interest rate is set at the time the account is opened and remains the same throughout the term. Therefore, there is no risk because of the guaranteed rate. Generally, our minimum deposit is $500 and our lowest term is three months. There is a penalty for early withdrawal before the end of the contractual term.
