The "4 H's" have teamed up to to build a Habitat home from the ground up. Each partner brings unique and necessary contributions to build the project including supplying the necessary labor and material donated for the build and fundraising. Habitat has already selected the qualifying family for a 4 bedroom home as well as the building site in Sun Valley.
The cost to build a Habitat Home is in the $90,000 - $100,000 range depending on the size of the home and cost of the land. Because we live in a generous community, many items have already been donated to the 4 H's build, however $45,000 is still needed by May 1, 2008.
How you can make a difference in your community:
* You can stop by our Rapid City Main Office and make a cash donation!
* You can purchase raffle tickets at Highmark FCU or at one of our credit union parnters' locations
for a chance to "Win a Trip to the Money Box"! (Minuteman FCU, Dacotah FCU, & Dakota Star FCU)
* You can donate an item for our On-line Radio Auction, promoted on KOTA and KQRQ Radio in
April 2008!
* You can donate your professional services with electrical, plumbing, and/or concrete work!
How you can become a Hope Builder Partner:
* Apprentice Circle: $600 or pledge $50 per month
* Journeyman's Circle: $1,200 or pledge $100 per month
* Master Builder's Circle: $2,400 or pledge $200 per month
* Community Builder's Circle: $4,800 or pledge $400 per month
* Visionary's Circle: $10,000 or more
