Highmark Federal Credit Union is seeking an individual with exceptional "people skills" and a positive attitude to fill a full-time Teller position in Rapid City. This position handles a variety of transaction requests and cross-sells credit union products and services. Cash-handling experience is helpful but not required, sales experience is preferred. Performs member services function for all phases of loan processing activities; Interviews, takes applications, and processes preliminary documentation on loan requests. Discusses loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in such a manner as to elicit positive responses from members. May include underwriting. Performs follow up work as necessary to achieve conditional approval within established time frames. Cross sells all credit union products and services, refers business to appropriate personnel. Notifies the member if loan is referred back to Officer because of problem ratios or credit ratings. Advises members of loan approval or denial. Explains loan denials precisely and clearly to members. Completes lending operations in accordance with established Credit Union policies and legal requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
