Our Money Mammals Kids Club is designed for ages 12 and under. But raising money-smart, money-empowered kids doesn't stop there! Check out Adolescent$, our financial education program curated for tweens and teens.
 
Benefits include:
  •  Earn a higher dividend rate than a regular savings account.
  • Select from one of ten custom Spirit debit cards to showcase your school pride. 
  • Qualify for Smart Money when you average a GPA of 3.5 or above per semester (see below)
  • Seniors can apply for one of four ($1,000) Highmark Credit Union Annual Scholarships . Applications open each February and close by mid March. 
  • Informative articles written from the teen perspective 
  •  Engaging videos produced exclusively for a teen audience   
  • Corresponding content for parents

Smart Money Moves For Teens

At Highmark we have a variety of products and services designed for teens aged 13-19, providing the perfect opportunity to start building healthy financial habits early. For teens under 18, a parent/legal guardian must be a joint account holder. However, parents/guardians do not need to be Highmark members. 
 
As a Teen Club savings account (share) holder, you'll have access to all of our savings and investment products, helping you plan for the future. Plus, with a free rewards checking account you can show your school pride (and give back to your local Booster Club) by selecting from our wide variety of custom High School or College Spirit Cards

Join Highmark Credit Union today, and get yourself a cool school spirit debit card! Yes, you do need to sign up for a free checking account before you can show your colors, but that's easy!  If you are under age 18, then we do ask that a parent or legal guardian be a joint owner on your account; however, they do not need to be members of Highmark Credit Union. All of our savings and checking accounts are available to Teen Club account holders, as is the scholarship for graduating seniors.
